KABUL, July 29 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan Ministry of Public Health on Wednesday confirmed 105 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of patients in the country to 36,473.
A total of 408 tests were conducted within the past 24 hours, the ministry said in a statement.
One patient died within the period, taking the death toll to 1,271, the statement added.
The total number of people having recovered from the virus reached 25,389 after 31 new recoveries were recorded since early Tuesday. Enditem
