Chinese archaeologists have unearthed a deck of an ancient landmark bridge in Kaifeng city, central China's Henan Province. Zhou Bridge was one of the most spectacular bridges on Bianhe River, a key water artery of the Grand Canal in ancient China, especially during the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127). The bridge is believed to date back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The archaeologists have completed about 230 square meters of excavation of the Zhou Bridge site.
