TRIPOLI, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- The National Center for Disease Control of Libya on Wednesday reported 161 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the national count to 4,224.
In a statement earlier Wednesday, the center said it had received a total of 1,047 suspected samples, 161 of which tested positive.
Up to 633 recoveries and 96 deaths from COVID-19 had so far been reported, the center said. Enditem
