ATHENS, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted off Greece's Hydra island on Monday, the Geodynamic Institute of Athens National Observatory reported.
No injuries or significant material damages have been reported by local authorities.
The tremor's epicentre was located in the sea area off the southeastern coast of Peloponnese peninsula about 50 kilometres south of Hydra and 120 kilometres south of Athens at a depth of some 90 kilometres, Greek scientists said.
