DALIAN, China, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Shenzhen FC snapped their losing streak in the Chinese Super League as they beat Dalian Pro in a 3-2 thriller here on Thursday.

Both sides have had a poor start to the 2020 season as Shenzhen entered Thursday's game with four successive defeats while Dalian have failed to register a win, only managing two draws and three defeats.

Shenzhen were up by two goals after 20 minutes as Dalian goalkeeper Zhang Chong's howler allowed Gao Lin to score the opener, before Harold Preciado steered his header into the net.

Dalian pulled one goal back five minutes after the break as Salomon Rondon out-jumped the defender to find the net with a powering header.

Rondon should have scored the second but his low-strike was flagged offside.

Dalian put themselves back on level terms in the 55th minute as Rondon assisted for Marek Hamsik to drill home.

Shenzhen restored the lead in the 74th minute, when Zheng Dalun was charged down by Sam Larsson in the box, John Mary stepped up to score the winner.

Shenzhen rank third to last with six points in group A while Dalian still sit at the bottom. Enditem
