RAMALLAH, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Palestine on Tuesday recorded 552 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections in the Palestinian territories to 30,490.
In a press statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry said the new cases were recorded in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the ministry recorded seven fatalities, bringing the death toll to 180, including 154 deaths in the West Bank, 21 in East Jerusalem, and five in the coastal enclave.
Palestine currently has 9,518 active coronavirus cases and 20,792 recoveries, according to the ministry. Enditem
