GUIYANG, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Police have busted 12 drug gangs, nabbing more than 80 suspects and seizing 68 kg of heroin in the city of Zunyi in southwest China's Guizhou Province.
In February 2019, police found that a suspect surnamed Ji purchased drugs from dealers in other provinces and peddled them in Guizhou.
Further investigation led to three other suspects who trafficked drugs from overseas to Sichuan and Guizhou provinces via the southwestern border province of Yunnan.
After over four months of investigation, police discovered the whereabouts of the gang members, who were part of the large criminal network, and later apprehended them. Enditem
