Vietnam records no new COVID-19 cases, total stands at 1,063

HANOI, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, with its total confirmed cases standing at 1,063 and the death toll remaining at 35, according to its Ministry of Health.

Five more COVID-19 patients have recovered, raising the total cured cases in the country to 931 as of Tuesday, according to the ministry.

Meanwhile, nearly 32,600 people are being quarantined and monitored in the country, the ministry said.

As the capital city Hanoi has gone through nearly 30 days without any COVID-19 cases in the community, the municipal authorities have allowed the reopening of bars and karaoke services in the city effective from Wednesday on condition that disease prevention, fire prevention and control measures are ensured, Vietnam News Agency reported on Tuesday.
