HONG KONG, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported nine new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, taking the total confirmed cases to 4,984.
The new cases included four imported and the remaining five are epidemiologically linked with local cases, according to a statement issued by the CHP.
The CHP's epidemiological investigations and relevant contact tracing on the confirmed cases are ongoing.
According to Hong Kong's Hospital Authority, 183 patients are still hospitalized, including 16 in critical condition.
