HAIKOU, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- China's Hainan Airlines will operate direct charter flights from Chongqing to Manchester starting Sept. 21 to assist Chinese students resume their education in Britain, according to the carrier.
The passengers will be Chinese students studying in 23 British universities, including the University of Manchester and University of Plymouth, which have confirmed through emails the names of the students who will fly.
Tickets for the flights will not be sold through external channels, but will be issued according to the list offered by the universities.
Hainan Airlines will provide transfer service to Chongqing for passengers from 27 domestic cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. It will also provide free accommodation if the transfer is over six hours. Enditem
