XI'AN, China, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese powerhouses Beijing Guoan and Shanghai SIPG are through to the Chinese Football Association(CFA) Cup last 16 round on Saturday.
Although Qingdao Huanghai's Cordova Cleo converted a penalty with a low shot to the corner in the 31st minute, A Lan scored twice and helped Guoan turn the game around for the 2-1 victory.
With Li Shenglong's header in the 75th minute, Shanghai SIPG beat Chongqing Lifan 3-2.
Oscar Emboaba Junior and Yu Hai made the season's Chinese Super League title contender lead 2-0 in the first half against Chongqing Lifan.
Marcio Barbosa pulled one back through a fabulous solo show in the 52nd minute. Dong Honglin scored an equalizer within one minute.
Li Shenglong's fantastic diving header threw SIPG into the second round after collecting Civanildo Souza (Hulk)'s corner kick.
In the other two games played on Saturday, Tianjin Teda entered the second round with a 2-0 win against Shijiazhuang Ever Bright, Wuhan Zall secured a last 16 round position after defeating Hebei China Fortune 5-4 (tied 1-1 in 90 minutes) after the penalty shootout. Enditem
