BANGKOK, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- A major job expo will be held later this month to provide hundreds of thousands of jobs for Thai job-seekers, confirmed Labor Minister Suchart Chomklin on Sunday.
The Ministry of Labor will hold the Job Expo Thailand 2020 at BITEC center in Bang Na area of the Thai capital from Sept. 26-28, Suchart said.
At the job expo, 410,415 jobs will be provided by various government agencies, 106,312 jobs will be offered by the Department of Employment and 112,242 jobs will be available in foreign countries while some 66,880 part-time jobs will be offered in Thailand, according to the labor minister.
An estimated 260,000 new graduates and other job-seekers are expected to attend the job expo and apply for jobs, including some 44,150 jobs previously provided for migrant workers, he said. Enditem
