GUANGZHOU, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F on Tuesday bid farewell to Israeli striker Eran Zahavi, who has signed for PSV Eindhoven.
In a message posted on Weibo, China's twitter-like platform, Guangzhou R&F spoke highly of the 33-year-old Zahavi who arrived in 2016 and scored 103 goals in 117 appearances for the Guangzhou-based club.
Zahavi finished as Chinese Super League top scorer in the 2019 season with 29 goals.
The message said that Zahavi leaves behind many good memories for the club and fans, especially his gestures after scoring and fancy shots, which made him an iconic striker in China. Enditem
