Tonight's a Great Night to Watch Pirates of Silicon Valley
Another year, another Apple WWDC keynote without Steve Jobs. Though it's been three years since the Apple cofounder's death, few can help but wonder what Steve would've thought of the latest products.
But instead of letting your head get too lost in the clouds wondering about what it all means, now is a good time to reflect on how far we've come. To date, the best movie about the birth of Apple is none other than Pirates of Silicon Valley, starring Anthony Michael Hall as Bill Gates and Noah Wyle as Steve Jobs.
Wyle did such a good job with the role that he pranked the audience at MacWorld in 1999, the year the film came out.
So why not watch (or rewatch) this late 90s classic tonight? Ironically, the only way to watch it online is through Google Play ($3), though it is for sale in the UK iTunes store (£9).
