Overseas work opposing "Taiwan independence" and promoting national reunification should put the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee's major decisions and plans on Taiwan affairs into action and stick to safeguarding unification and opposing separation, said Tan Tianxing, deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and secretary-general of the CCPPNR, at the meeting.
Over 200 people attended the meeting, including chairpersons of the CCPPNR's overseas branches.
