China's Hubei reports no increase in COVID-19 cases

WUHAN, April 21 (Xinhua) -- No new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were reported in central China's Hubei Province Monday, local health authority said Tuesday.

On Monday, the province reported no new deaths from COVID-19.

The provincial health commission said Hubei had 544 asymptomatic cases under medical observation by Monday when 20 new cases were reported.

The provincial health commission said three COVID-19 patients, all in the provincial capital of Wuhan, were discharged from hospital after recovery on Monday.

A total of 102 patients remained in hospital in the province by the end of Monday. Nineteen of them were in severe or critical condition.

Hubei has so far reported 68,128 confirmed COVID-19 cases in total, including 50,333 in Wuhan. Enditem
