BEIJING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Liu Yunshan, a senior Communist Party of China (CPC) leader, attended a graduation ceremony at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee on Thursday.
Liu, president of the school and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, presented diplomas to 511 graduates of the 2017 spring semester.
The graduates said that their studies had helped their understanding of speeches by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, and his new ideas, thought and strategies of state governance.
They vowed to closely unite around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core and to do their work well in the lead-up to the 19th CPC National Congress this year.
