BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhua) -- A 6.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Vanuatu at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was monitored at 14.57 degrees south latitude and 167.35 degrees east longitude at a depth of 140 km, the center said in a statement.
