YANGON, May 20 (Xinhua) -- The condition of patron of Myanmar's ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) U Tin Oo, who was hospitalized due to falling unconscious three days ago, is recovering slowly, Dr. Aye Ko Ko, superintendent of the Yangon General Hospital has revealed.
However, the patron still needs medical care and strict treatment for one or two more weeks to recover, the superintendent said late Friday.
Blood clots were found within U Tin Oo's blood vessel to the brain, but now his condition has been improving and attentively watched, the superintendent added.
U Tin Oo was brought to the hospital on Wednesday midnight for urgent treatment after he slipped over in the bathroom in his residence losing consciousness.
