MOGADISHU, May 30 (Xinhua) -- A small plane chartered by U.S. contracting firm Bancroft crashed at a Mogadishu airport on Tuesday morning, witnesses said.
A source at the Aden Adde International Airport said passengers who were aboard the plane survived but the incident caused flight disruptions at the airport.
"Reports point to a failed landing gear," said the source, adding that the plane crashed while attempting to land.
Bancroft company supports training and logistical services to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
