China will host the Ninth BRICS Summit in September in Xiamen, Fujian Province.

As developing countries and important emerging economies, both China and Brazil should implement the consensus reached by their leaders, link development strategies and step up practical cooperation, Li said.

China hopes that Brazil will play a positive role in China-Latin America cooperation, Li said.
