Xi urges China, Germany to give full play to people-to-people exchange mechanism

BERLIN, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday called on China and Germany to give full play to a newly-launched high-level cultural and people-to-people exchange and dialogue mechanism so as to deepen cooperation in related sectors.

Xi made the remarks during his meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
