HANOI, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Seventy cyclists from Vietnam, Laos and Thailand are participating in a Vietnamese cycling tournament which kicked off here on Saturday.
The cyclists from Vietnam's 12 leading teams, Lao's national cycling squad and Thailand's national junior cycling team are competing with one another in six laps which started in Hanoi capital city and will finish in central Quang Tri province on July 20.
The tournament is considered a preparation for Vietnamese athletes to conquer gold medals at road cycling events at the coming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Malaysia, said the Vietnam Cycling Federation.
