HANOI, July 15 (Xinhua) -- The women's volleyball team of Japanese University had a lopsided victory over Indonesia's national squad on Saturday to rank first at the 2017 international women's volleyball tournament in northern Hai Duong province.
In the final match, the Japanese team whitewashed the Indonesian squad 3-0 at the scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-14.
Meanwhile, Vietnam' s national team beat the South Korean club of Suwon 3-0 with the scores of 25-13, 25-23 and 25-23 to finish third at the weeklong tournament.
The tournament, dubbed VTV Cup, attracted seven teams from six conutries.
