ANKARA, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Turkey will limit cross-border movement at the Bab al-Hawa crossing with Syria because the Syria side is controlled by a "terrorist group," Turkish Customs Minister Bulent Tufenkci said on Thursday.
The Bab al-Hawa, also called Cilvegozu crossing, is located between Turkey's Hatay province and Syria's Idlib province.
Militants under al-Nusra recently took control of the border area in Syria side from Ahrar al-Sham, which cooperates with the Free Syrian Army (FSA), a group supported by Turkey, according to Hurriyet Daily News, citing security sources.
The minister said that restrictions will continue until the militants' control over the area ends. The restriction will be imposed on all exports of all goods, except humanitarian aid and food.
