HANOI, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Companies in Vietnam currently have higher recruitment demand for senior and middle-level positions, according to recruitment company Navigos Group.

In the third quarter of this year, the number of such job orders surged 19 percent on-year, Navigos said in its report released on Wednesday.

The biggest demand was seen in such sectors as manufacturing, consumer goods and retail, information and communication technology, and banking and finance.

The manufacturing sector accounted for 35 percent of the total demand, primarily in construction and electrical and electronics segments.

Highest salaries for senior and middle-level managers were offered by consumer goods companies, banks, real estate and information technology firms, ranging between 100 million Vietnamese dong (4,400 U.S. dollars) and 300 million Vietnamese dong (13,300 U.S. dollars) per month.

Navigos predicted the labor market in Vietnam's power sector will thrive in the years to come due to the potential for remarkable development as foreign investors are proposing several solar energy projects nationwide.
