STOCKHOLM, Nov. 08 (Xinhua) -- A van belonging to Sweden's postal service Postnord has been hijacked by armed robbers in the country's second-largest city of Gothenburg, Swedish TV reported Wednesday.
The police alarm came in the morning, Swedish TV reported, and the incident happened in Lovgardet suburb.
"Two masked men, armed with what looked like a gun forced their way into the van," said regional police press spokesperson Stefan Gustafsson.
According to initial reports, no one was injured during the robbery.
The police are carrying out an investigation and have questioned the postal van driver and other witnesses.
"Right now we are trying to find out in what direction the van went," Gustafson said.
