JAKARTA, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Six Indonesian female athletes will compete in world's bowling tournament in Last Vegas of the United States, association said here on Monday.
The championship will be played from November 24 to December 4 of this year, said Tanya Rouminer, one of the athletes.
The international sport event will be a barometer for the six Indonesian players before they compete in the 18th Asian Games next year in the country, she said.
"The athletes who will vie in the world championship in Las Vegas will also vie in the Asian Games. So this is very good to measure our capabilities," Rouminer revealed.
The player said that Indonesia does not send male players in the tournament in Las Vegas because the male players have to take parts in a selection for Asia Zone championship.
