MACAO, April 21 (Xinhua) -- The Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) of Macao Special Administrative Region on Friday issued Level-1 travel alert after a shooting incident took place in Paris, France.
Residents who plan to travel to or those already in France should remain vigilant and closely follow the development of the situation that might affect personal safety there, GGCT warned.
GGCT said it has not received any request for information or assistance.
As for information gathered through the Macao travel industry, there is no indication that Macao tour groups have been affected.
Macao travel alert system took effect on March 7 this year, covering 77 travel destinations which are the preferred travel destinations of Macao residents.
