SINGAPORE, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 4.09 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 3,253.43.
A total of 1.92 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 976.2 million Singapore dollars (707.74 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 264 and 174.
The STI index gained 9.18 points, or 0.28 percent, to close at 3,257.52 points on Tuesday.
