SINGAPORE, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 0.65 points, or 0.02 percent, to close at 3,231.44.
A total of 2.33 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.5 billion Singapore dollars (about 1.09 billion U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 238 and 190.
The STI index lost 21.34 points, or 0.66 percent, to close at 3,232.09 points on Thursday.
