Xi calls for closer China-Germany high-level exchanges

BERLIN, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday called for closer high-level exchanges with Germany, fully playing the role of bilateral dialogue mechanism, and enhancing political mutual trust.

Xi made the remarks during his meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.
