NAIROBI, July 12 (Xinhua) -- A light aircraft with five passengers including three journalists crashed shortly after takeoff at Kibera slums in the outskirts of Nairobi on Wednesday.
Police Airwing Commandant Rodgers Mbithi confirmed the incident saying the Cessna 206 plane with journalists from Citizen television station were headed to a politically rally in Baringo County, northwest Kenya.
"We have rushed the injured to hospital," said Mbithi, adding the injured are in stable condition.
