TEHRAN, July 30 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5 magnitude shook western Iran at 20:07 local time (1537 GMT) on Sunday, Iran Seismological Center said.
With a depth of 10 km, the earthquake's epicenter located in Naghan county in Charmahal and Bakhtiari province.
No casualties were reported so far.
The power and telephone lines are broken in the surrounding villages and the quake has caused damage to the rural buildings, the state IRIB TV reported.
