Chadian PM due in Sudan to enhance bilateral cooperation

KHARTOUM, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Chadian Prime Minister Albert Pahimi Padacke will start a three-day visit to Sudan on Monday, seeking further cooperation in various fields, Sudan's Foreign Ministry said Sunday.

"The Chadian prime minister will meet with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and Vice-President Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman," Gariballa al-Khadir, Sudan's Foreign Ministry Spokesman, said in a statement.

He said the Chadian delegation would hold a meeting with Sudanese businessmen and investors to inform them with the investment opportunities in Chad.

He further explained that the Chadian prime minister's visit, under the invitation of the Sudanese president, includes visits to Sudan's GIAD industrial Group and a number of other Sudanese firms which export their products to Chad.

According to the statement, the Chadian prime minister would be accompanied by a number of ministers.
