Two pilots killed in Ukraine military plane crash

KIEV, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- A light military plane crashed during a training flight in Ukraine's western Khmelnitsky region Friday, killing two pilots, authorities said.

The L-39 aircraft went down at about 12:21 p.m. local time (0921 GMT) in a rural area near the town of Krasiliv, the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement on Facebook.

A search and rescue team is working at the crash site. The cause of the crash is unknown.
