BUDAPEST, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Korea ruled in both 1000m finals and women's 3000m relay on the closing day of the Audi ISU World Cup Short Track 2017/18 here on Sunday.
In women's 1000m, Min Jeong Choi of Korea won the gold with 1:34.660. She was followed by Canadian Kim Boutin with 1:34.799 while British Elise Christie with 1:34.852 took the bronze.
In women's 3000m relay, South Korean team (Suk Hee Shim, A Lang Kim, Min Jeong Choi and Ye Jin Kim) placed first with 4:08.393. The silver medal went to team Canada with 4:09.817. The bronze went to Russian team with 4:10.382.
In men's 1000m, Hyo Jun Lim came first with 1:26.092, followed by fellow South Korean Dae Heon Hwang with 1:26.418 while the bronze medal was won by Han Tianyu from China with 1:26.622. In men's 1000m, Chinese skater Wu Dajing won the B final with 1:33.357.
In men's 5000m relay, the team of Canada (Charles Hamelin, Charle Cournoyer, Samuel Girard and Pascal Dion) won the title, followed by China (Wu Dajing, Xu Hongzhi, Han Tianyu and Ren Ziwei). The bronze went to Japan and Korea came fourth.
