BEIJING, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Chinese diplomatic services around the world celebrate the 68th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China which falls on Oct. 1, wishing China prosperous and strong, and the world peaceful and flourishing.
Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui said at the National Day reception held in Moscow that since 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), under the party's leadership, the country has proposed a series of major strategies and completed some tremendous events which were used to be incapable of being done in the past.
China is willing to implement with Russia the consensus reached by the two nations' leaders, continuously enhance the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation, to yield more tangible fruits and to bring benefits to the two peoples, Li said.
Chinese Ambassador to Australia Cheng Jingye said at the National Day reception that the upcoming 19th CPC National Congress will have great and profound impact on China's future development and its relations with the world.
Looking to embrace the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, Cheng said, China stands ready to work with Australia to foster bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.

The ceremony took place a day before China and Japan mark the 45th anniversary of the normalization of the two countries' diplomatic ties.
At the reception held in Italy, a TV documentary on China's Belt and Road Initiative has sparked applaud among guests. They were also impressed by Pipa (a Chinse lute or guitar) playing and ink painting at the scene.
Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Tan Jianri held the first National Day reception in the African country since the civil war erupted there in 1991. He assured guests that China will forever be Africa's good friend, partner and brother.
