BEIJING, Dec. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- Representatives of political parties across the world lauded China's message of mutual respect at a high-level dialogue between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and world political parties in Beijing.

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said Friday that the CPC would neither import foreign models of development nor export the Chinese model.

"We will not ask other countries to copy the Chinese practice," Xi said while addressing the opening ceremony of the dialogue.

Krasilnikov Andrey, head of the International Relations Department of the Communist Party of Belarus Central Committee, shared the same view.

He told Xinhuanet that the localization of Marxism is prevalent in socialist countries and that copying other country's development model without adjustments is a dead end.

However, the CPC's experience in governing the state and fighting for the people's welfare sets a good example for the rest of the world, he noted.

Ghyslaine Derrous, member of the Authenticity and Modernity Party of Morocco, said that she hopes all countries, whether powerful or less developed, would share this conception.

Powerful countries should not force their development model onto less developed ones; in turn, less developed countries should not completely copy powerful countries' model, she said. If this becomes the universal practice, we will have a great future, she added.

Babar Housein Abid, member of the Punjab Assembly of Pakistan, said that the model China has adopted is an effective one because "this country has brought several hundred million people out of poverty."

He added that the model could be adapted to the specific situation of each nation so that they can also develop and bring their people out of poverty.
