Dollar falls below 112 yen line on speculations for BOJ reduction of easing

TOKYO, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) --The dollar fell below 112 yen line in Tokyo on Wednesday, its lowest level in about a month, on speculations that the Bank of Japan (BOJ) would gradually reduce the monetary easing.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 111.93-95 yen compared with 112.61-71 yen in New York and 112.74-75 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday. It moved between 111.76 yen and 112.78 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1935-1936 dollars and 133.59-63 yen against 1.1932-1942 dollars and 134.42-52 yen in New York and 1.1950-1951 dollars and 134.73-77 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
