WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- It is reported that the Charlotte Hornets are open to trading their star point guard Kemba Walker.

Although with Nicolas Batum, Dwight Howard, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, the Charlotte is 18-25 now and four games behind 76ers, outside of the Eastern Conference playoff hunt.

But Walker himself said he'd be "pretty upset" if he were to be sent out of Charlotte.

Walker, 27, has been with the franchise since being drafted with the ninth overall pick in 2011. The 2017 All-Star player is averaging 21.7 points, 5.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds this season.
