HANOI, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese travel agencies are launching special package tours to China's Changzhou city of Jiangsu province to serve football fans who want to watch the 2018 AFC (Asian Football Confederation) U-23 Championship final match between Vietnam and Uzbekistan on Saturday.
Hanoi Red Tours is offering a three-day tour to Shanghai and Changzhou starting on Friday at a price tag of 18.9 million Vietnamese dong (836 U.S. dollars), the local firm announced on Wednesday.
Vietravel has launched four package tours to the two Chinese cities at different time frame at prices of 20-25 million Vietnamese dong (885-1,106 U.S. dollars), including tickets for the final match.
Hanoitourist, AnzTravel, PanvinTours and QueenTour are offering similar tours with starting prices of 12.5 million Vietnamese dong (553 U.S. dollars).
On Tuesday in Changzhou, in an AFC U23 Championship semifinal game, Vietnam defeated Qatar 4-3 in a penalty shootout after a draw of 2-2 at the end of extra-time.
By Wednesday morning, many Vietnamese agencies and companies had pledged to offer combined rewards of some 20 billion Vietnamese dong (885,000 U.S. dollars) to Vietnam's U23 squad.
