Swiss cyclist Dylan wins Tour de Indonesia first stage

JAKARTA, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Swiss cyclist Page Dylan from Sapura Cycling posted the first position at the first lap of Tour de Indonesia 2018.

Dylan took 2 hours, 41 minutes and 04 seconds to finish the stage.

"It is the best achievement for me, actually I do not believe with what I have done," Dylan was quoted by Juara net media as saying.

The first state from Prambanan Temple to Ngawi of East Java province features straight route which led the racers to sprint.

Indonesian cyclist Projo Waseso finished second in 2:41:08, followed by KFC Cycling Team racer Abdul Gani in 2:41:10.

The Tour de Indonesia kicked off on Thursday in Prambanan Temple of Yogyakarta province attracting 15 cycling teams from 19 countries and regions.

The tour comprises four laps and will end in Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali province on Jan. 28.
