MUMBAI, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed flat on a negative note Tuesday.
Benchmark indices wiped out gains in last hour of trade after the rupee extended losses to 64.85 against the U.S. dollar, down 1 percent from previous settlement.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,703.59, 71.07 points or 0.21 percent down compared to its previous close at 33,774.66.
