NAIROBI, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's Sephas Kimwaki and Eunice Wambui are targeting bowling medals at the Commonwealth Games, which starts in Gold Coast, Australia on April 4-15.

Coach Bernard Ndungu said the pair, who made their debut at the tournament in 2014, will start residential training on Monday in Nairobi. Unlike in 2014, Kenya's slots have been reduced from nine to just two players.

"The players have impressed us in key areas, which we believe will play a part in their quest for medals. They make a strong team," said the coach.

Kenya will field in 15 disciplines, including track-and-field, swimming, badminton, boxing, cycling and bowling, and etc. in Australia. Enditem
