BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Football Association on Wednesday announced the 27-man squad for the 2018 Gree China Cup International Football Championship to be held from March 22-26 in Nanning, the capital city of South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Peng Xinli of Chongqing Lifan and Tan Long from Changchun Yatai were the new faces in the team. 37-year-old Zheng Zhi, who has played 99 matches for the national team, was not among the names read out.
The players will gather in Nanning from March 18-27, and they will play Wales on March 22.
