China enters wheelchair curling final at Winter Paralympics

PYEONGCHANG, March 16 (Xinhua) -- China became the first team to make it to the wheelchair curling final at the 2018 PyeongChang Paralympic Winter Games here on Friday.

China defeated Canada 4-3 in the Gangneung Curling Centre to book its place in the final. China is in search of its first-ever Winter Paralympics medal.

In the other semifinal, host South Korea was beaten 8-6 by world champion Norway despite the home crowd enthusiastically cheering their curlers.
