People protest against the ratification of the Istanbul Convention in Zagreb, Croatia, on March 24, 2018. Thousands of people gathered in Zagreb to protest the ratification of the Council of Europe convention on preventing and combating violence against woman and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention) on Saturday. The Croatian government on Thursday adopted the Council of Europe convention against gender-based violence and sent it to the parliament for ratification, state agency HINA reported.
