NAIROBI, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr will stick to attacking football in a bid to defend his team's slim 1-0 lead against their rivals SuperSport United in South Africa on April 17.

The two sides will be meeting in Pretoria in the return leg of the CAF Confederations Cup tie where the winner will join the last 16 teams for the group stage of the competition.

Gor Mahia lost 1-0 to Esperance of Tunisia to be bundled out of the CAF Champions League and wants to take most out of the Confederations Cup, which the side now has to play in.

To attain his goal, the coach insisted that there will be no parking of the bus in South Africa, but he will remain pragmatic of his chances and exploit any weakness in the SuperSport United defence.

"The 1-0 victory at home was not good enough. We came up against a very different side but we have to go there with a positive attitude, the way we did in Esperance," Kerr said.

Gor Mahia will however miss the services of their midfielder Ernest Wendo for the return leg after he accumulated two yellow cards.

"He is a big loss to the team but we still have great players who have what it takes to fill in his shoes. We will see who is best placed to replace Wendo," Kerr added.

SuperSport United coach Keitano Tembo is confident that the slim 1-0 deficit can be overturned, though he has cautioned his players to be careful against a very tough and determined Gor Mahia.

"It is down to us to turn around the result. But they are a strong side and we must be cautious," he said.

His sentiments were echoed by his skipper Dean Furman, who wants his side to remain united and focused if they are to tame the rampant Gor Mahia.
