Czech Republic names Fed Cup team against Germany

PRAGUE, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Czech tennis Fed Cup team coach Petr Pala on Wednesday announced the squad to face Germany in the semifinals.

Karolina Pliskova, Petra Kvitova and Barbora Strycova will play in Stuttgart, Germany on April 21-22.

Pala said that he would add the fourth player later.

The German team comprises Julia Gorges, Angelique Kerber, Tatjana Maria and Anna-Lena Gronefeld.

If the Czech team advances to the final, it will play against France or the USA in the Czech Republic in November, 2018.
